For Selville Records followers the name Elvis27 is familiar. After only being introduced to him through Besta Evo’s ‘Made For Something’, Elvis27 debuts with the EP Vagary.

Vagary introduces us to Elvis’ downtempo style of sound, the “dance but the aim is not to make you sweat” vibe. The young producer from Mtubatuba, a town north of Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal, exhibits his sound to us exposing the diversity in the South African underground scene, the EP moves from organic downtempo to emotional Detroit-inspired house escapades – always reflecting his originality and worthy musicianship.

The Vagary EP is a true testament to Elvis’ musical journey.
